Over time you may begin to notice your travertine tile developing holes. These holes are a natural part of the stone and are usually filled at the factory. Sometimes these holes “pop” leaving behind an empty space. We employ a variety of methods for travertine repair, chief among them, a two part epoxy.
This repair process involves mixing an epoxy base with a hardner to repair cracks in travertine tiles. We also use these on large holes and cracked tiles. Smaller holes, and more general repairs are filled with a sanded or non sanded grout depending upon the type of grout installed.
